Print-friendly2010 Raleigh Snowstorm
Raleigh got about 4-6 inches on Friday/Saturday and the whole city shut down. The best thing about living here is that this is pretty much a given every other year, at the very least. Erin, Ella and I were having dinner Friday night when the fluries started. After a mild crisis getting home, it snowed/sleeted until about Noon on Saturday.
I ventured out to Target and Home Depot, but pretty much everything else was closed. The roads weren't that bad, but with Southern drivers, anything can happen.
Sunday was pretty cold and the big risk now is ice. Wake County Schools shut down, and I am now just waiting to see if our office will be closed.
Ella's preschool is running an hour late. But the biggest kicker is my dentist appointment is going to be rescheduled.
That alone made my weekend...
